A digital storytelling campaign inspiring more people especially women and non-binary people to see themselves in ocean conservation through authentic, short-form documentaries.

The Challenge
Many young women are passionate about the ocean but rarely see the diverse pathways into conservation. She for the Sea showcases three women from different backgrounds to demonstrate that conservation can take many forms.

Campaign Concept
The campaign centres around a three-part documentary series (3 × 5-minute episodes), following:

  • An artist & freediver
  • A surfer & filmmaker
  • A scientist & mother

Released alongside the second anniversary of the Impact Storytelling Podcast, the series builds on around 50 podcast conversations with people working across ocean, water and nature conservation.
