Her work has been featured in international publications, TV networks, and streaming platforms such as WaterBear Network, further amplifying her voice in the conservation and filmmaking space.
For nearly half a decade, Sabine has focused on film and communication projects centered on the Mediterranean Sea, drawing on her extensive field experience—hundreds of hours spent underwater—to document and communicate its ecological challenges. She has collaborated closely with marine scientists, producing several impactful films dedicated to the conservation of this unique marine region.

Sabine’s achievements include a media scholarship from National Parks Austria and a Summit Fellowship from Jackson Wild, both awarded in 2022. That same year, she earned her Master’s degree in Media Design, complementing her Bachelor of Arts in Information Design and additional diplomas in marine biology, nature conservation, psychology, and science communication.
In 2024, Sabine was a featured speaker at the TEDx Maastricht event in the Netherlands, delivering a compelling talk on “Documentary Storytelling for Ocean Conservation.” She also served as a judge at prestigious wildlife and conservation film festivals and has delved deeper into researching effective storytelling techniques that emotionally and intellectually resonate with audiences, inspiring them to take meaningful action on conservation issues.
