Waves and Ice

Synopsis:

“Waves and Ice” is a captivating documentary film that follows the journey of five adventurous women who embark on a week-long exploration of Iceland in two vans. Unacquainted at the outset, these women forge deep connections as they conquer challenges together. From ascending and snowboarding down majestic snowy peaks to braving the freezing waves of Iceland, and daring dives into the icy waters of the ocean and Silfra, their experiences push the boundaries of courage. Living in their vans, even during bone-chilling nights with temperatures plummeting to -13 degrees and extreme winds, the women demonstrate resilience, camaraderie, and the unyielding spirit of female empowerment.

Through the eyes of documentary filmmaker Sabine M. Probst, the film aims to inspire women to venture into predominantly male-dominated domains, showcasing strength, determination, and fun.
